Official Wedding Photos

Our love story began in high school back in 2005 when fate brought us together. Luis and Iveta crossed paths and quickly formed a deep bond as friends. Little did we know that our friendship would blossom into something truly special. After a year of cherished moments and shared experiences, our connection evolved into something more, and we took the leap into a romantic relationship. Despite our youth, we found ourselves falling deeply in love, navigating the ups and downs of life together with unwavering support and affection. In 2007, we embarked on a journey to meet Iveta's family in the Czech Republic, a pivotal moment that solidified our commitment to each other. However, our path took an unexpected turn in late 2008 when Luis faced a life-altering accident. Despite the challenges, Iveta stood by our side, offering love, comfort, and strength through it all. As Luis recovered, we continued to build our lives together, pursuing our dreams and aspirations. In 2010, we took a significant step forward by moving into our first apartment together, marking a new chapter in our journey. Around the same time, we also welcomed two furry members into our family, Nickel and Silver, who quickly became cherished companions. Our love and commitment to each other were evident as we navigated the challenges of adulthood, always standing by each other's side. In 2018, life presented us with a new challenge when Iveta was offered an incredible job opportunity in Georgia. Though the distance was daunting, our love endured, and we embarked on a journey of long-distance love and perseverance. For nearly two years, Iveta resided in Georgia while Luis traveled back and forth to be with her whenever possible. The challenges of distance only served to strengthen our relationship, reaffirming our commitment to each other and our shared future. In 2020, Luis made the life-changing decision to leave his job and join Iveta in Georgia, where we embraced new opportunities and continued to build our lives together. During this time, Luis pursued his entrepreneurial dreams and started his own IT support company, a venture that Iveta has always believed in. Together, we have watched the business flourish, finding happiness and fulfillment in our shared success. Our journey serves as a reminder that sometimes, when you follow true love, even in the face of adversity, the universe has a way of rewarding you with unexpected blessings. Now, as we stand on the brink of a new chapter in our journey, we reflect on the incredible moments that have brought us to this day. Our love story is a testament to the power of resilience, devotion, and unwavering support. We are eternally grateful for the love and laughter we've shared and look forward to the adventures that lie ahead as we embark on this new chapter as husband and wife. We are thrilled to celebrate our love surrounded by our cherished family and friends, and we invite you to join us as we say "I do" and begin the next chapter of our happily ever after. Situated in West Town on the corner of Fulton and Wood, the Goose Island Taproom serves rotating, innovative beers made in Chicago, for Chicago. The Taproom opened back in 2015 to bring the beers brewed in the building right to the neighborhood. Along with classics like Honkers Ale and 312 Wheat Ale, our brewers put experimental beers on tap regularly.
